New To Soma
Welcome to Soma online! We are a new community of Christ Followers that share a single passion: restoring broken lives.
And we believe that begins with us, allowing Jesus to make something beautiful out of the brokenness in our lives.Trying something “new” is never easy. Perhaps you’re new to Salem or new to Christianity or not even sure what you think about God…but you’re here now, checking out this church’s website for some reason. We want you to know that you are always welcome at Soma, and regardless of your concerns about life or doubts about God, we want to be a hospitable, loving church community.
People often ask, “Where is a good place to start if I’m interested in your church?”
Great question. The answer to that depends a little on where you think you’re at spiritually, but here are a few suggestions:
--Visit our weekly worship gathering on a Sunday night at 5:00pm
--Contact Dwayne Hilty (Lead Pastor) to setup a conversation over coffee to hear about Soma and ask questions (dwayne@somasalem.org or 503.580.4118)
--Come to one of our weekly Life Groups and get to know a smaller group of people (if you’re interested, let us know at info@somasalem.org)
