At Soma, we believe that children are a vital part of our faith community and want them to be active participants in how we live faith out and do worship together. At the same time, we also realize it’s important for you and for your kids to grow spiritually in ways that connect with where people are at (whether they’re 2 or 25).
On Sunday nights at Soma we have Kidz City, which includes 4 classes where kids are able to experience and encounter God at their own level in a space that is safe and fun. Your children are invited to be full participants with the adults in worship, but we also have Kidz City (age 0 and up) during the entirety of worship. The choice is yours.
Little Lane…a loving, safe, supervised area for little ones ages 0-2.
Discovery Drive…an opportunity to learn of God’s love and His story for ages 2-3.
Encounter Way…where kids can experience God through story, prayer, and worship for ages 4-6.
Restore Blvd…a deeper look at following Christ for ages 7+.
Are you a parent looking for an opportunity to enjoy an evening out? Parents Night Out (PNO) is a monthly event, hosted by Soma, that provides parents an opportunity to enjoy an evening out with each other or with other parents. This program is intended to alleviate the fear and time spent finding reliable and safe childcare. PNO is designed as a babysitting co-op, where parents, themselves, provide the childcare on a rotational basis. Soma will also be hosting Community Parents Night Out, bi-annually, as community members may participate in this safe and fun program without joining the rotation of the babysitting co-op.
