Worth
God loves you. Always has; always will. And nothing that you or I do-whether “wrong” or “right”- can change that fact.

In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul points to this reality: “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will...” (Ephesians 1:4-5).

God takes pleasure in you, and we believe that He’s gone to great lengths to create and form all of us into His image. In fact, we believe God is like the ultimate artist, taking creative liberty to shape us so that even our most basic desires and passions are really nothing more than intuitive longings to live in relationship with God-our Creator.

How does this value shape us as a church? We want everything we do to communicate God’s radical love for people. So whether we are celebrating new life in baptism or helping kids to experience God (Soma Kidz) or giving out clothes to someone who doesn’t have a roof over their heads, we want everyone to know that God has created them with enormous value and worth.
